Bev Tomkins
Before Bev joined the RAF Benevolent Fund she worked as an Office Manager for five years. She joined the RAFBF in 1987, spending ten years as PA to Head of Care Services. For the last 11 years she has been a Care Services Executive, dealing with applications for domiciliary care and equipment, as well as care home fees. In addition to making grants she helps RAFBF beneficiaries ensure they are receiving their full entitlement to State Benefits, and that Health and Social Services are meeting their statutory requirements.
Bev says:
“My days are certainly very full and sometimes hectic, but no two days are ever the same. I get an immense sense of satisfaction from my work.”
