RAFBF Regional Team – Wales and the West of England
Martin Henshaw served in the RAF for 24 years as an Administrator, retiring as a Wing Commander in 1996. He joined the Fund in 1998, now working as the Regional Director for Wales and the West of England.
Cerys Truman worked for local government in Newport for seven years, as a Licensing and Enforcement Officer, before moving to a national children’s charity. She joined the RAFBF as Regional Fundraiser for Wales and the West of England in November 2008.
Stuart Turnbull, who left the RAF as a Warrant Officer, has worked for the RAFBF for 10 years and is now responsible for RAF subscriptions consisting of GAYE, Dependants Fund and Dependants Income Trust.
Together with a committed support staff, the team is based at RAF Brize Norton. Together they raise awareness of the RAFBF on RAF stations and among the general public. They also provide support to anyone who wants to fundraise for the charity, or offer any other kind of support.
