Shepherd Neame and Spitfire Ale

We enjoy a close partnership with the Shepherd Neame brewery through its “Spitfire Ale” brand, which it uses to raise awareness and funds for us wherever possible.  The company first began working with us in 1990 when the Spitfire brand was conceived as a charity beer to raise money for our “Reach for the Sky” appeal. This hugely successful campaign saw £100,000 raised.

Last year Spitfire Ale launched a September promotion donating profits on beer sales to the RAF Benevolent Fund, and ran a competition to win a day with the Red Arrows, the launch of which is pictured here.

In June, Shepheard Neame presented the RAF Benevolent Fund with a cheque for £31,500 at a lunch in the RAF Club.
