The Royal Air Force Sailing Association
The RAF Sailing Association celebrated the second year of its partnership with the RAF Benevolent Fund by taking 3rd place in its class at this year’s Cowes Week regatta. The team’s J109 Yacht, “Red Arrow”, flew a new, specially branded spinnaker throughout the week, raising awareness of RAF Benevolent Fund services wherever they went.
Red Arrow Skipper, Wing Commander Simon Ling, said:
“The RAF Sailing Team is delighted to partner with the RAF Benevolent Fund, an organization whose aims and objectives are close to all of our hearts. Working in partnership with a charity that works to enhance the morale of the serving RAF is a perfect match for both parties. Indeed, all of my crew are delighted to be able to promote the name and brand of this fantastic charity.”
